Cree Traditional Feast – Roasting Goose

The John R. Delaney Youth Centre organized a traditional feast on May 23, 2015. The purpose of the feast was to teach the community’s youth in Moose Factory how to prepare and roast goose in a sabtuan, and to also prepare bannock and cook it over the open fire. This video demonstrates preparing the goose to cook over the open fire. It was great to see the whole community involved in the process.
